RAW CANNONDALE

2009

G-Star RAW, a Dutch urban clothing company, has teamed up with Cannondale to create the ‘RAW CANNONDALE.’ They started with a Cannondale Bad Boy and pretty much went nuts. The bikes are a limited edition, expensive (£1,500 or around $2,500), and are only available in Europe.
More info/photos after the jump…
The RAW CANNONDALE is nicely spec’ed out with an internally geared rear hub, internally routed cables, mudguards, Brooks leather saddle & grips, disc brakes and brown retro tires. Nearly everything is custom painted in the same utilitarian color. The front shock can be locked out and the stem has built-in LEDs for lighting. The full list of specs is available here.

This collaboration has produced a pretty gorgeous bike in my opinion, and a functional one too. Let’s hope bike companies like Cannondale can continue to put out beautiful machines like this. Also, let’s hope they start bringing them to the states.

Hi there first time caller, long time fan. This is pretty sweet, what can we do to my bad boy to get it looking this good? I’ll take my question off the air.
Actually, these remind me of what Trek recently did with there “District” bikes. Expect those are available in the U.S. It’s also a super quite single speed belt driven bike…interesting
I know what I’m getting you for Christmas Ricky.
Good information, thanks for the post!
