Alexandra gave us a shout-out to tell us about her new site, Blue Carrot Shop! She is a treasure hunter at heart and Blue Carrot Shop is where she can share her wares with the world. She says it best:

My name is Alexandra, and I am a Graphic Designer by trade and a treasure hunter by preference. I am very good at finding things. Neat things, old things, used things, unique things, things that have been cast aside and things that are well-loved. I love looking for — and at — such things. I decided to start Blue Carrot Shop as a home for these things. Or at least (I’m hoping) a temporary home, a gathering place for wayward items — a stop on the journey to becoming a part of your home.
I can’t keep everything I find (trust me, I wish I could) and I make a habit of only finding things I want very much to keep. I hope you will feel the same way. Look around, and if you don’t see what you’re looking for, let me know — I’ll keep my eyes open for almost anything (unless it’s painted on velvet or shellacked onto a log slice).

The relics on the site are a great slice of Americana, and would serve as amazing inspiration for any creative space (especially those pieces with old sexy type on them). I call first dibs on any old typewriters!
