AIGA’s After School Special: Advice for Emerging Designers has really re-motivated me to do more, learn more and experience more in the career I love. It’s practical advice, yet pushes designers to a new level in the most critical years of our careers: right after graduation. One of the favorite but most challenging pieces of advice following:

Talent will take you far, but determination will take you further. … The truth is, most people aren’t willing to put the time and effort into accomplishing their goals. It’s easier to just live their dreams inside of their heads instead of putting in the sweat equity.
