Ya know, not to be a jerk (I am) but, how would we appreciate the good without the bad? How does the good stand out if the bad isn’t there to make it look even better? And then what happens if everything is good — does the best of the best make not “as good” become the new “bad”? I’m all for better design, but I also feel that bad design has a function and place, if only to motivate the bettering of other work.

I just wish there weren’t so much bad around… like, less bad would serve the same purpose. I feel like it’s such a huge split, a 90/10 bad/good split sometimes. Just wish there were more good.

Surely. We all do. I’m not saying don’t fix the bad. But I am saying in the way that the bad will evolve to good, with good thinking, new bad will still arise.
