Dinara Mirtalipova works at American Greetings, and her recent exhibition in the main gallery is what introduced me to her work. The first time I walked past it, the open gallery space seemed lit up with color and cheer. I stopped and walked through her whole exhibition of original art, crocheted hair accessories, hand-painted jars and knick-knacks, and couldn’t help but smile. Her linework and penmanship is so beautiful and detailed, and buzzes with energy. Check out her work on her blog, or her Etsy if you’re interested in other custom work.
