Glyphboard for iPhone

The iPhone keyboard, in my opinion, is a technological marvel. It has a low learning curve even for my jumbo sausage thumbs and is smart enough to usually know what you meant to type. It gets a bad rep usually from folks who haven’t used it, or have only used it for 12 seconds.

Due to the limited screen real estate, some of the lesser-used characters had to be removed. These characters are still available in the font… but how to get to them? Glyphboard for iPhone lists many of the special characters available in the iPhone font that the keyboard simply didn’t have room for. Just visit the site http://mrgan.com/gb/ on your iPhone and add the page to your Home Screen. It will then run off of your phone as a web app, allowing you to copy any character and paste into your text.

It’s like Copy Paste Character for your phone. As a sidenote, the iPhone GUI PSD was really useful in making these mockups.
