3de2a1564b179e7e29ef3fe160c1My friends and I talk a lot about how different we thought life would be at 25, in both the good and bad. When I was younger, I thought for sure I’d be married, have at least one kid and be on my way to running a design firm of my own. Little did I know what life had in store for me! I am not married, no kids, do not own a firm or even want to right now and have no intentions of heading that way by next year when I do hit 25. By no means am I unhappy, but there is a feeling of being unsure of what the future is to hold.

After talking a lot about this with my friend Danielle from TDP, she sent me this article called Welcome to Your Quarterlife Crisis. It hit home immediately. Most prone to these feelings of a younger “mid-life” crisis, are mostly young, educated creative-types with the world at their fingertips, and they have no clue what to do with it. The author Kate Carraway writes such a great comparison and understanding of the feelings some have at 25 and not really sure where life is going.

I highly, highly recommend you read this, young and old alike, to understand where others come from or to understand where you’re going. Read the full article here.
