Remedy Quarterly is a quarterly publication of submitted food memories and recipes from storied pasts and personal histories. Each issue shares a common theme that ties together a collection of recipes, stories, photography, and illustrations. The first issue’s theme is “home” and includes a Q&A with Tim Mazurek of Lottie + Doof, an interview with Will Gilson of Cambridge’s famed Garden at the Cellar and a story from Stacey Slate, writer for the New York Times food blog Bitten, and others.

A few specs about the magazine:
- 48 pages at 8.5″ by 5.5″
- 100% content, no ads!
- 2-color offset printing, not unlike the old community cookbooks that inspired us.
- quarterly publication

In order to print their first issue, they are currently working to raise funding on kickstarter, where you can pre-order the magazine, subscribe, and get all sorts of Remedy Quarterly goodies like a tote bag, recipe cards, even homemade cookies. See the kickstarter video to hear about Remedy Quarterly in their own words:

I’ve made a pledge and urge you to go help them get this great project off the ground. Just go to their site on kickstarter and make a pledge.

FYI – Kickstarter is a site where you can post a project that needs funding and people can donate any amount of money to help you out, and if the goal isn’t reached, no money is exchanged.
