Wall Clock RE_VINYL by Pavel Sidorenko

We’ve posted people making clocks out of recycled material before, but these were awesome enough to post. Pavel Sidorenko makes laser-cut clocks by cutting silhouettes into vinyl records and adding a working clock in the middle. The results are striking clock designs that are perfect for anyone into music, who also is interested in time.

Pavel has many more designs than I’ve posted here (it was a challenge to narrow it down to just a few), so head on over to his site and pick one up for $51.

Massimo Vignelli by John Madere

Here’s a beautiful video by John Madere with Massimo Vignelli. I enjoy hearing Vignelli talk more than almost any designer. So inspiring.

Loving Tim Flach‘s “Dogs Gods” work. Simply amazing. I’d be lying if I said I didn’t want to curl up with those Dalmatian pups…

Check out more of Flach’s stunning photography on his site.

mermaidJon Contino is a designer, lettering artist and illustrator from New York, as well as the co-founder and creative director of Onetwentysix. He has quite an affinity for blackletter typography and does a great job of blending it with city-inspired, modern influences. His work is also heavily influenced by the ocean and all things nautical, which I LOVE. You can learn more about Jon in a fabulous interview over at Lettercult, or view more of his work at Onetwentysix.
