Ever wish your iphone dialing experience could be filled with fluffy clouds, baby kittens, meowing, and rainbows, and hearts? Your dreams can come true with Kitty Caller, my new favorite app (yes, I bought it, it’s worth it for entertainment value alone! only 99 cents!) There are three feline friends to choose from—with names like “Ms. Mittens” and “Chairman Meow”–each with their own dialing animation. I’m DYING. This is amazing.

*That dialing seizure pictured above (with all the 1’s) was my attempt to capture the shooting rainbows. After many tries, I got it!

SpampersandSeeing as how so many people are now enjoying the 300&65 Ampersands post from the other day, quipsologies gave us a perfect addition. Meet the Spampersand.

We know everyone’s scrambling around to get ready for the Holidays, but there’s nothing stressful or time-consuming about doodling on a little Post-It®. The peeps at The Hello Project are running a holiday-themed-hello contest. They’re even giving away an iTunes prize for the best holiday-themed-hello.

Get to doodlin’!

2001: The Emo Redux

The skulls on her tour-only Death Cab tee don’t match the skulls on her Vans, so it’s not like she’s trying too hard.

His PBR trucker hat and faux vintage t-shirt reveal an obsession with “irony.”Evolution_y08_v3_single_72dpi

2008: The Williamsburg

He thoughtfully hangs shutter shades in the deep-V of his white tee, and he’s often seen walking his fixed-gear bike around town while texting with his iPhone.

I was laughing outloud at Paste Magazine’s Evolution of a Hipster. From 2000-2009, the photos and captions that accompany each crack me up because so many of us fit them at the time and thought we were too cool. I think everyone in the world knew an “Ashton” and used the work “punk’d” at some point. I can’t wait to see where future hipsters bring us! See the entire collection and read more about them here.
